Meet Dr. Kelly Summerhayes Greenfield!

Veterinarian

 

Kelly Summerhayes Greenfield, DVM started working at Wrentham Animal Hospital in 2024 and is proud to have become part of the ownership in 2025.

  

Kelly has known she wanted to be a vet for as long as she can remember and grew up with cats.  She describes herself as a crazy cat lady at heart but does also love dogs.  Born in England, her family moved to Boston before kindergarten started and settled in Sharon, MA.  Kelly spent her high school years volunteering at local veterinary clinics to gain experience and after her undergraduate she moved back to London for two years as a veterinary technician prior to starting veterinary school. 

 

Kelly received her bachelor's degree from Umass Amherst then attended St. George’s Veterinary School in Grenada.  After completing her clinical fourth year at Cornell she graduated with her veterinary degree in 2013.  She then went on to a rotating small animal internship at Tufts VETS in Walpole 2013-2014.  After her internship she went into general practice in Medfield for almost 10 years before leaving to be part of an Urgent Care Service in 2023. 

 

Kelly feels passionately that general practice is a cornerstone to medicine and loves working with clients and building relationships.  While not at work she spends lots of time active in her community coaching soccer and attending her kids many activities!  Kelly and her husband Jeremy have four small children, one golden retriever, one cat, and one bunny!  When not at work Kelly can be found enjoying the lovely ocean side communities in Plymouth and Cape Cod.
